This workshop considers the way in which cosutmes and masks have played a vital role in Commedia dell'Arte performances overtime. The workshop seeks to explore the relevance of costume and mask in a comtemporary context; what extent mask is an invitation or barrier to Commedia dell'Arte; and how might both be extended or simplified depending on soio-political-cultural circumstances in Australia today.
